오랜만이야
Wow, it's been a while since I last blog and so many things had happened while I was away from this blog. Graduation, working, weddings, challenges, renovation and so much more. Well, Alhamdulillah, I finally graduated from our local university and am finally working officially. Graduation was to me, amazing. From rehearsals to the very day. It felt surreal and when the day ended, it finally made me realise that I was and am a graduate from UBD. :)
I actually think I forgot how to blog and I think I did. I can't really remember how I come up with things I posted up for my blog, it used to come up easily. Well, for all I know, nowadays, I've been spending time on mostly works and just listening to music. Yeah, works been giving me a headache and been taking up most of my time. I think any work or occupation will take up time and I will eventually get use to this lifestyle. Back in Uni, my life was a little more care-free than now so I definitely miss that. I definitely miss my mates too. Don't get me wrong. I do have friends at work but I use to have a group of friends, where nowadays it's more to a one-two person basis.
Oh, and I'm currently the youngest at work. Haha. 20 and an educator, How do I feel? Like a kid. Surrounded by people who are older and with more experience than me can be very overwhelming. Whenever I'm overwhelmed with works which are given to me, I wonder how my older colleague were able to get through everything for more than a year. Without even noticing, I find myself observing every single person in my workplace, looking at how they do their work, how they manage to handle everything and I have to say, it's been really interesting. There are things which I need to follow and things which I think should be left unsaid but everything is interesting.
So, life has been interesting, work too. I'm still in the process of learning. So yeah. :)

the soundtrack
The five songs you would always want to bring with you and why.
Wow, this was hard to answer. I mean really hard. I have tonnes of favourite music and songs and it was hard to include or exclude some of the songs for this question. Well, here goes.
The first song I pick would have to be, BAY (베이) - Love Again.
This song was the first song that popped in my head when I saw this question. This band is so difficult to follow since there's really limited news about them. The debuted way back in 2007 and still have not released anything new but I personally love their first album, Open The Road. It was amazing, especially this song. Ever since I heard this song, it's been in my playlist since forever. I tend to listen to this song whenever I'm on the road, with my headphones on. It sounds amazing and it always makes me feel well, good and sad at the same time. I really don't know how to describe this but it's been a favourite for a while. And I just love listening to it through my headphones.
Second song, 愛せない愛したい (Aisenai Aishitai) by Tohoshinki.
Yes, I would bring this song with me wherever, whenever. I know, the lyrics are very depressing but to be honest, this was the Tohoshinki I fell in love with. Well, honestly their first album, both Japan and Korean impressed me the most. But yes, the lyrics are depressing but I think the emotions and meaning makes me love this song more and more. It's just so dramatic but lovely at the same time. Plus those music is just guh.
My third choice would be, Sober by Kelly Clarkson.
This song is by far, my favourite by Kelly. It's called sober but it got nothing to do with alcoholism. It's just a metaphor. This song is mainly trying to avoid bad things and you're achieving it. It's just so hypnotic and amazing. When I first heard this song, I actually felt like crying. The arrangement, the guitar, oh god, everything is just amazing. Plus, when Kelly performed this, she sounded amazing. This song is just so different and it's rare. My favourite line would have to be, Picked all my weeds but kept the flowers. That line is so good. You really have to admit, it's a beautiful song, just listen to it's introduction, content and conclusion, it's amazing.
Fourth song, I have to pick Wanted with Lee Jung's Don't go, Don't go, Don't go.
First of all, I have to say, the album was amazing. Each and every song is just worth listening to. Especially this and I Promise You. I don't know where to begin with this song. When I received news that Lee Jung was gonna collaborate with Wanted, I was ecstatic. I was so happy I couldn't contain myself. This song is just well, the lyrics were well written and the arrangement is amazing. Plus, those voices from Wanted and Lee Jung, it became one of my favourite song all time. You have to listen to understand.
The last song is, Do Your Best by Seigaku, the Tenimyu Cast.
I know, they may not be the most amazing singers out there but I don't know why but I have personal love for this song. Maybe it's because I really like each and everyone of them or maybe this song is just a really good musical song. I don't know. It's just really fun and light. It's also really nice to listen to when you are down because it's just I don't know. It's also amazing because Yanagi is in this. Eventhough, he was involved in that accident but it's really amazing cause he doesn't give up and is still performing. To be honest, this cast is just AWESOME! I also love two versions of this, I love the Dream Live 3rd version and this version, the Hyotei Imperial Match (05) To be honest, while watching the third Dream Live, I cried, buckets! But, no matter what people say, I still think this song is amazing!
There goes. Haha. It took well, shorter than I expected but still it was still hard not to include any songs from ONE OK ROCK or TRAX or Super Junior or Ayumi Hamasaki but yeah, I think I would be okay with this songs. :)

first rain
I was asked this question a few days ago.
"Which video is your favourite k-music music video?"
I had three videos in mind and I could not make myself choose between the three since it's all that good. Two of the videos are from the same singer, who I extremely adore and the third is from a band I love since I don't even know when. Alright let me explain one by one. :)
First off, First Rain by TRAX.
I don't even know where to begin, this music video is just amazing to watch. There's no subbed version of this but you can pretty much get the gist of it.
There is three different version according to SMent plus one teaser but I suggest you to watch the full version. I have so many reasons as to why I chose this video in the first place but let's just keep the reasons brief. One, Jungwoo. One word explains everything, Jungwoo acts amazing in this video. Keep in mind, Jungwoo is usually very quiet and subtle in real life plus he's really a dork. So, when this video came out with Jungwoo acting all gangster, I was speechless and impressed, this boy really know how to act. He's also a great bassist so that is a plus, it's really a shame that he withdrew from the band but hey, as long as he is happy but if he is not, he better comeback.
Anyways, you should see for yourself, Jungwoo is really amazing in this. Second, Jungmo's cameo. Jungmo said it himself, "The point of this music video is to find me." He only has 15 seconds in this video but hey, he did well and everyone obviously thinks it's cute of him to be excited about his two lines. It's not really that hard to find him in the video and he was superbly cute. Third, Jay. With Lina of CSJH! This pairing is so amazing, I thought Jay wouldn't be able to pull this off since he is really, well, serious? Haha. Anyway, this pairing is just amazing. Lastly, the storyline. I'm not even sure if there was this type of video before them but so I'm not sure. But, I think it was the first for SMent. I think this was the first SMent video which featured a story and it's amazing. Basically, Jungwoo, Jay and Lina are friends but when Jungwoo starts feeling abandoned and jealous of Jay and Lina's relationship, he betrayed them by going over to another gangster but then I personally think there is this inside thing like Jungwoo going over that side for the sake of Jay and Lina. Haha. I really did my observation for this but I don't know, maybe he's just doing it for the money. But honestly, this video is just amazing and of course, the song and album is also amazing.
The second music video is Lee Seung Gi's When A Man Loves A Woman (Album's Music Video) The music video has three parts and it's comprises of songs from Lee Seung Gi Special Remake Album.
Reasons? Well, I really like Seung Gi and his voice. I believe this was his very first music drama. His previous music video before this was still 6 minutes long but I think this was his very first movie like music video. And it's really heartbreaking. Seung Gi is just too amazing for words. He's a well rounded entertainer and he works real hard. I really like this music video because of Seung Gi himself and the story line. There is an english subbed version in youtube but I'm just too tired to find it. But if you watch this video, I'm telling you it's worthed. And this album is just good. He remade songs from his seniors and he remade them well. I don't know why but I'm always bias when it involves him. I personally think he has one of the best voice in the K-Music industry. He trained well with his senior and this music video is just great. One, Seung Gi's acting, Two, Storyline; it's just so heartbreaking.
The third music video is Lee Seung Gi's White Lie. This music video just shows a different kind of Seung Gi.
He is really amazing in this. I think this was the start of really mature Seung Gi. But then, he had always been mature and that was one of the reasons why he is loved and why I love him. This music video touches story about the Japanese Occupation and well, I think if you watch this music video, you would really understand why I love the video. I don't know why but I liked it. I personally think, Seung Gi's song and voice plays a big part in why I always love his music videos. I mean, I have to admit from Because You're My Woman to Words That Are Hard to Say to Let's Break Up, I never did not like his music video. I love all of his videos to bit but this two videos is really at the top of my list.

guess who's back?
Double S, OH-GONG-IL, baby! :D I can say this is definitely one of my favourite comeback of the year. I mean, I don't even know where to begin. Did you know how much I love their Rebirth album? I liked every single song in that album so obviously I have a huge expectation for this comeback. I was excited for 501 day and had to keep my patience button on when they had to push back their dates, but, It IS WORTHED. :)
This was the second stage comeback and I still love it! Do you know why? I can list so many reasons why and one of the reason is it was an amazing performance. I also have to mention that I think through out two of the stage, they had this consistency that I just can not explain about. I don't have enough words to express how much I love this comeback. One of the things that I love about it is, the song, It's like back to the past, No auto-tunes, Awesome lyrics. I mean, you should read the translation, my favourite two lines is definitely;
너를 보면 아파, 숨이 너무 가파, 이젠 내손 잡아
그 사람은 너를 사랑하지않는데 왜?
(It hurts when I look at you, It's hard for me to breath, now hold my hand
He does not love you, so why?)
세상모두 적이된다해도 나는 안돼
(Even if the world becomes my enemy, I don't care.)
Plus, the presentation, all I could say was Wow. I know a lot of people sang this type of song but this one, is just, different. It has this different feeling. I don't know how to explain. It's like a song where you are hurting but you still care about the person and you don't really care how much that other person is hurting you cause you would risk everything for her. Haha. I totally love this song.
And I have to say, I so love this comeback stage better than their Love Like This days, cause I don't have to complain about the hair. :D Did you know the only thing that turned me off during LLT days was their hair, I kinda hated Kyu Jong and Hyung Joon hair those days but this time, everyone looks so good. And you can definitely rely on DSP to bring something different to the table. I like their outfits actually, Haha. Why? I'm not sure why but it's just different. Maybe because I've seen a lot of performance with suits lately and all I could say was "Nice colour, Nice cut." and it was pretty much the same. So yeah.
I have to also mention, I absolutely love the characters they hold for this comeback. Do you see the intensity? The serious-ness? The determination. Oh god. I'm running out of words. But I think they definitely improved. The only problem I had with their Music Bank comeback was the camera and microphones. I definitely did want them to at least tape the mics. And Mr. Camera man, you missed Kyu Jong's major line, you also missed Young Saeng's stare, you know. As for the second comeback stage, Mr Camera man, you missed Hyung Joon's rap but you manage to capture Kyu Jong during his line, so I'll forgive you this one time. :P Did you know how much I love Hyung Joon's rap, he improved so much. I love.
Anyway, back to the album. Oh my god. I didn't know I would love the album this much. I mean, it's not the most different and outstanding out there but the meaning and melody. Oh god. I love this boys. They did not disappoint. I love each and every song. And I have a personal bias for 영원토록. Yes, to me, it's awesome. My favourite part?
"영원토록 날 바라봐요
영원토록 날 안아줘요
영원토록 날 사랑해요
우리 행복하도록
영원토록 그대만 보며 (영원히)
행복하길 기도해"
I love. And Let Me Be The One is such an amazing proposal slash love song. Haha. It's so sweet. Especially the chorus. I actually go to sleep with this song on ever since their comeback so I think that would explains how much I love this song. I just think this album is such love. Thank you, SS501 for doing this. I love you boys, you brought that extreme fangirl in me again. Haha.

'Huh, not serious things
ICE 2010, D2.
The first day was the most chaotic day, in a good way though. We had to settle the parking permit and then greeted the participants, telling them where to register themselves. We also had to do some other things but it was real fun and exciting at the same time. There were times when you feel like strangling someone by the hand but it's all good. Haha. Anyway, with ICE finish, I have a lot more time in my hand and I'm really planning on just spending most of my time resting and more resting. Been sleeping real late and waking up really early the past few days so I really need my energy back. Haha.
I finally read Dear John and watched three quarter of the movie, I have to say I like the book more. I don't know why but yeah. I also re-watched New Moon so I'm really super-ly excited for Eclipse. I'm only in it for the wolves. Yes, WOLVES. Sam, Jake, Embry! :D Haha.

Aww, when boys cry.
Okay! One, two, three, Stop!
-as said today.
It was the first meet-up with the girls after our teaching practise so practically everyone was with their stories. We told each other everything and try to update each other with news and updates. Haha. It was as you can imagine, chaos. But it was fun because we talked and spend more time together. It was all good.
We went to The Mall just to see the boys and girls. It was the final round so Diana and I was both nervous and excited. I never knew and realised how even a short period of time will affect you in so many ways. I feel attached and very much connected to the place. When the announcer announced it was them who won, I went teary eye and proud. Aww, I said. Their effort along with the rest of the teachers definitely paid off. Plus when I saw the always cheerful boys cried I went "AWW. You boys so deserve this." And then the girls crying and sobbing made me "AWW, you girls really work hard and this is your reward." I truly believe they deserve it even though I sound bias, but yeah, that's how much I believe in them.
Anyway, finally finished everything in uni and we decided to have lunch over at home. We bought some food at Sumbangsih and ate at home, We were as usual super loud, happy, giddy and share stories together. We should do this often girls. We didn't do this the past few months so yeah. Next time, let's cook our meal instead of buying, alright? :D Soon, should do it when we are all freeeee. :D

New A-B-O!
Oh hi! First, I just have to shout "HOLIDAY! I LOVE YOU." Haha. Yes, Holiday is finally here after 3 months of really, being busy and stuff. I think most of my colleagues are happy at the moment, since we are finally free temporarily from stress, burden and responsibilities. Not to forget work! But, I have to admit, for the past few months, I was introduce to so many new things and so many new stories. I learn a lot from other and I learn a lot from myself. I saw a lot of new things about myself and other people's life.
I was always ignorant in the past, thinking only about myself and was pretty selfish but when you find yourself having to deal with 59 people every day, you are bound to learn new things, problems and life stories. So yeah, I learn a lot and I am satisfied. I was trying to be at my best and it definitely was a challenge with my temper and all. I know how my temper really effect people around me and I'm trying to change and be better and I'm working on it.
Self-reflection is a good thing but it's only super good when you take actions and learn from all the reflection. That's what I'm trying to do, trying to figure out and I'm sure I'll get there, I'll be okay and I'll be better, Insya-Allah. I won't change who I am but I'll be better. That's what I want for 2010. Hehe, alright, enough with this.
So, I've been watching Cinderella's Sister. I have to say, Taecyeon is doing real good in here, making me squish here and there and Moon Geun Young is of course always delightful to watch. I love the complexity she shows in her eyes. I just can't wait to watch the next few episodes! And Bad guy is gonna be on soon. Like, YAY! Kim Nam Gil! :D I actually have a long list of dramas that I need to watch so I'm trying to figure out which to watch first. Haha, I've told you, I lead a complicated way of life. Haha, alright I'll end this post since I don't have other things to say.
